Rotary hammer

Hammer drill
- More universal for wood, metal and occasional masonry
- Mechanical hammer mechanism with lower impact in hard concrete
- More compact for mounting tasks
Cordless alternatives
Cordless rotary hammers are flexible and capable today, but runtime depends strongly on drill diameter and substrate. For series drilling, always plan battery reserves.
