- The product can be used for both soil and foliar application c flexibility in weed control. Â Contains two complementary biologically active substances with different mechanisms of action Diflufenican and flufenacet remain active in the soil for many weeks after treatment, maintaining high herbicidal effectiveness even in the later period Optimal soil moisture contributes to the high effectiveness of the product The best herbicidal effect is achieved by using cApply in the early stages of weed development, i.e. h. during germination or shortly after emergence, in the seedling phase The product poses no danger to subsequent crops It is necessary to observe the rules for handling liquids utility and take precautions when using it Carthago SC herbicide: Active ingredient content: Diflufenican (related to fruits from the phenoxynicotinanilide group) - 200 g/l (16.26%), Flufenacet (related to fruits from the oxyacetamide group) - 400 g/l (32.52%). Â Carthago SC - this is how it works: The herbicide contains two active ingredients: Diflufenican and Flufenacet, which work in a certain way, complement each other, assure c Broad spectrum of protection
- Diflufenican, classified as an inhibitor of carotenoid biosynthesis (group F1 according to HRAC), acts through contact and stops c weed development at an early stage
- Creates a thin layer of soil on the surface layer that effectively eliminates young, sprouting plants and weeds, providing protection for up to 8 weeks. Â Flufenacet, belongs to the K3 group according to HRAC, has a systemic effect, inhibiting the synthesis of long-chain fatty acids in weeds
- It is absorbed mainly by the roots, allowing effective weed control from the moment of germination
- Both active ingredients remain active in the soil for a long time after application, which enables long-term plant protection. Â The herbicide is particularly effective when soil moisture is optimal and works best on weeds in their early stages of development, particularly during germination or shortly after emergence, in the seedling phase.
