First, unroll the heating cable The spiral cable must not be connected to the power source If the cable becomes inflexible due to the low temperature, loosen it carefully without pulling and then connect it to the power source for a few minutes The area to be protected around the pipe must be accessible and free of obstacles Place the thermostat with the round black contact surface on the coldest part of the pipe and secure it with electrical tape For the entire installation to work properly, the thermostat must adhere to the pipe surface Then place the entire cable on the pipe and fix it with insulating tape at a distance of 30 to 60 cm.
