After installing the SpeedBox, the display of your e-bike shows real data such as maximum and average speed, daily kilometers and range. Advantages Speed limiter removed The display shows the true values, activated by the WALK button, easy installation. Please note that the tuning kit does not add any additional power to the eBike motor. It simply eliminates speed limits and allows you to drive as fast as possible. How does SpeedBox 3.0 work? The tuning kit can be activated directly on the bike display. You activate the SpeedBox 3.0 by briefly pressing the walking aid function, a value of 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) is displayed and you can now drive at 40 km/h, 50 km/h and even over 60 km/h - as much as you can. To switch off the Speedbox, briefly switch the walking support function back on. The display shows 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) and the speed limit is reset to 25 km/h. Your e-bike will then run exactly as it did before the tuning was installed. SpeedBox was also designed for e-bikes that do not have a classic control unit with WALK support function. In this case, you can simply use the keyboard shortcut + - + - and SpeedBox will be activated. In the same way, you can easily disable SpeedBox. You can adjust the maximum speed of the electric assistance by switching modes: Turbo – EMTB – Tour – Eco – Tour – EMTB – Turbo. The actual speed limit is then displayed. The maximum speed of the electric assistance can be changed by briefly activating the WALK assistance function or rotating the rear wheel through 360°. 1.5 km/h on the display corresponds to the 15 km/h limit, 2 km/h corresponds to the 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h etc. The last displayed limit is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity. If you are using the SpeedBox 3.0 with 4th generation Bosch motors (built in 2020 or later), leave the bike on after riding until 0.0 km/h is displayed. During this process, the remaining time is displayed in minutes. Then you can park your bike safely and look forward to your next trip.
