Since then, they have been passionately pursuing a dream: They want to produce high-quality red wines that reflect the region's centuries-old winemaking tradition. Under the direction of the wonderful Francesco Cavallo, the winery has been continuously developed since 1982. This year you launched your famous Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria, which has forever changed the world's perception of the wines of Puglia. Only the finest grapes from vines over 60 years old from the renowned Primitivo di Manduria region are used for this wonderful representative. As we know, with age comes maturity and this continues in the cellar. After malolactic fermentation in steel tanks, the Primitivo matures for a further 12 months in small French and American oak barrels. This gives the wine an incredible amount of texture and depth. The result is really impressive. Its deep red color is an absolute eye-catcher! And in terms of taste, this wine is also an absolute delight: it is full-bodied and elegant at the same time. The complex, fruity scent is an absolute dream and captivates the senses. Notes of plum and cherry jam complemented by a hint of tobacco – a real treat for the senses!
