- Gypsum boards must be firmly mounted on a load-bearing substructure, dry, clean and free of dust in the joint area
- Fill larger gaps with Knauf Trias or Knauf Uniflott
- Pre-filled joint areas must be completely dry and already well adapted to the board surface
- Mixing Stir up the material and dilute with a little water if necessary
- Use a clean mixing container/tool
- Machines/equipment tools: Swiss trowel / smoothing trowel / screw-handled spatula / surface spatula or Knauf Q2 joint and corner spatula
- Processing time Depending on the humidity and ambient temperature, the material hardens through drying
- Processing temperature/climate The material, substrate and air temperature must not fall below +10 °C during processing and until completely dry
- Special instructions Do not mix Sheetrock® SuperFinish with other materials
- Clean equipment and tools with water after use
- For thicker layers, longer drying times must be taken into account depending on the temperature and humidity
- Coatings and cladding Before further coating and cladding (wallpapering), plasterboard surfaces must always be pretreated and primed, in accordance with BVG information sheet 6 "Pretreatment of drywall surfaces made of gypsum boards for further surface coating or cladding"
- Only adhesives made from methyl cellulose may be used in accordance with BFS Bulletin No. 16, Technical Guidelines for Wallpapering and Gluing Work, Frankfurt am Main, published by the Federal Committee for Paint and Object Protection
- After wallpapering paper and glass fabric wallpapers and applying synthetic resin and cellulose plasters, ensure rapid drying through adequate ventilation
